Blue Rag Quilt

This was actually the first rag quilt I made for my neice, Jamie, but couldn't show it until after her baby shower.  This quilt just got softer and softer with each wash....so comfy and snuggly...now on to baby quilt three which is for my daughter, Bekah, which will definately not be in blue....she is having a girl ....Olivia Kathryn....love the name....

Ruffled bloomers of my own design...

These bloomers are very cute and so soft...I actually did this pattern myself and added the ruffles with the same flannel rag blanket method...they get softer and fuzzier with each wash.  I just hope Livy's little hiney (we don't say butt) will fit into them.  I used a dollar store flannel receiving blanket on sale for $1.75...can't beat the price of these babies!

I had a time getting the elastic in these tiny little legs.  This was the hardest material I have ever sewed and I doubt I would pick it again.  They are darling though...and very soft.  Picked up the fabric at Hancock's @ 50% off so a very good deal...

What fun I had making this Baby Boy Quilt for my sister,  Beth Ann, who is due this winter...just in time to snuggle up..... The second pic is a burp cloth ....using 3 layers of flannel and 1 of muslin....
